What is Big Data ?

Big data — a Turn that has been turned the world to grown in new path. Even though big data is a big concept people are still not aware about what is it actually?

Let me explain in simple,

Every business, organizations, institutions, closed networks, government, and other sectors that works online or offline may meet a big problem, in terms of handling data’s.

Data handling becomes more tough when it comes to deal with online and transactional data.

Every business or organization have a separate server on cloud to store and manage their data. that server has some limitations.

Big Data :

Any Data that couldn’t be handled by a server is known or any data that are unnecessary or known as big data.

Big Data Analytics :

It is a procedural handling of raw data. This analytics process can be achieved with help of various big data tools.

How big data can be processed?

In order to handle big data, we need to collect data sets from various sources , That is called data — Data Acquisition

The collected data will be mixture of structured and unstructured data, so before taking the data in to the next stage, we have to segregate it — This is called Data modelling.

After modelling the data we have to extract the needed data, and have to transfer it to server then finally have to load it in server. This entire process may known as ETL process — also known as data ware housing.

Like wise we can list out various process and techniques to handle the big data.

A big data may be of Peta bytes. ( 1024 terra bytes ), Exa bytes (1024 peta bytes) and etc
